A delegation of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is paying an official visit to the Republic of Moldova until March 3, the Moldovan Parliament announced.
Fabian Hamilton, President of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, leads the delegation. Members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords are also part of the group.
During the visit, the British officials will meet with MP Radu Marian, President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The agenda also includes meetings with Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin and with Ana Revenco, Head of the Center for Strategic Communication and Countering Disinformation. The delegation will also hold discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova and the Audiovisual Council of Moldova.
