Access to Chisinau airport to be restricted for another two weeks

The Border Police reported the extension of measures to restrict access to the terminal of Chisinau International Airport for another 14 days.

“The Risk Management Group has decided to extend the measures to restrict access to the Chisinau International Airport terminal for another 14 days. These measures will ensure optimal comfort and security for all passengers,” stated the explanatory note.

Since May 1, access to Chisinau International Airport has been limited to passengers only. Authorities implemented these measures to safeguard citizens in response to multiple anonymous threats regarding explosive objects within the premises.
