Alexandru Munteanu announced on Monday morning, October 27, that three new names — Andrian Gavrilita, Valeriu Chiveri, and Eugen Osmochescu — will join the new government team.
“We are completing the government team with dedicated professionals who have extensive experience in their respective fields. I thank my colleagues Valeriu Chiveri, Eugen Osmochescu, and Andrian Gavrilita for agreeing to join this collective effort,” wrote Munteanu.
- Valeriu Chiveri, a career diplomat and Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine (2021–2025), has been nominated for the position of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.
- Eugen Osmochescu, an expert with over 25 years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies and institutional reforms aimed at boosting economic competitiveness, has been proposed to lead the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with international organizations such as the World Bank, the European Union, the OECD, and CEFTA, contributing to projects in sustainable development, investment, digitalization, governance, and innovation.
- Andrian Gavrilita, with over 20 years of experience in the economic field and strong expertise in public policy and international affairs, has been nominated to head the Ministry of Finance. His priorities will include modernizing the financial sector and advancing Moldova’s sustainable economic development.
