Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu discussed cooperation for peace, stability, and prosperity, as well as the consequences of the war in Ukraine, at the Davos Forum. He took part in a panel on the economic situation in the context of regional and global challenges.

The prime minister reaffirmed Moldova commitment to actively contribute to building a strong Europe that ensures sustainable growth for its citizens and respect for human rights.

“The Republic of Moldova has chosen to leave the gray zone of geography and join European efforts to defend democracy, freedom, and peace. We show that European solidarity and shared values can become shields against destabilizing external interference,” Munteanu said.

He also presented solutions to security challenges and to energy, economic, and geopolitical pressures, stressing that states and institutions must address these issues through a collective effort.
