Ana Taban Recalled from Post; Viorel Ursu Appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden

The Moldovan Government recalled Ana Badan from her position as Ambassador to India and appointed Viorel Ursu as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden. Additionally, Mihail Barbulat, Moldova’s representative to the Danube Commission, will represent the country in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, with his residence in Budapest. The Government gave its official approval to these decisions at the meeting held on Wednesday, August 6.

During the same meeting, the Government appointed Victoria Madan as Head of the Institutional Management Directorate within the State Reserve Agency.

”She brings over ten years of experience in managing national and mobilization reserves, having overseen institutional management within the agency for the past four years,” stated the Minister of Internal Affairs.

The Government released Vasile Saramid from his position at the Civil Aviation Authority following his resignation request. Deputy Director Andrei Ceban will assume the interim role starting August 7.

In another appointment, the Government named Iuliana Albu as General Director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, effective August 6.

”Iuliana Albu will continue strengthening the agency’s operations through concrete measures aimed at improving medicine supply, enhancing the pharmaceutical system, ensuring product quality, and enforcing legal standards among economic operators in the field,” noted Roman Cazan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Government.
