Average gross wages in Moldova increased by 12.1%

The average gross monthly wage in the Republic of Moldova rose by 12.1% compared to the same period last year, reaching 15,024 lei. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported it.

Wages were 5.9% higher than in Q4 of 2023, adjusted for inflation. The average number of employees also increased slightly by 0.6%.

In 2024, the average gross wage was 14,096.7 lei, reflecting a 14.1% increase from 2023. In real terms, purchasing power rose by 9%.
