Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Maxime Prévot will pay an official visit to the Republic of Moldova on 25 August. The delegation from the Netherlands will be led by Heleen Bakker, Director-General for European Cooperation.
According to Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen multilateral cooperation between Moldova and the Benelux countries, with a focus on European diplomacy, energy security, support for European integration, and development partnerships.
The agenda includes meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popsoi, President Maia Sandu, and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. The officials will also visit the Solar Park in Radeni, followed by a debate with Moldovan youth.
