Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Bolea emphasized the need for a fundamental approach in agriculture, focusing on changing cultivation methods and adapting to new climatic conditions. During the “Rezoomat” program on RLive, Bolea highlighted that 2024 presents significant challenges due to drought. He stressed that while this is not a new issue, the solutions must focus on prevention rather than merely managing the effects.
“Every year, we face the same consequences of drought. We need to develop agriculture and address the root causes, not just the effects,” Bolea stated. He noted that the Ministry of Agriculture is working closely with scientists to find sustainable solutions and improve the approach taken by farmers.
During discussions with farmers, the minister emphasized the importance of establishing cooperatives and agricultural chambers, as well as the need to educate farmers to tackle new challenges effectively.
