Several districts of Chisinau will host fairs and markets featuring locally produced goods and seasonal agricultural products on September 12–13.
According to Chisinau City Hall, the events are intended to support local producers and give residents access to fresh seasonal products.
In the Botanica district, the “Tasty Autumn” fair is taking place along the main avenue in Valea Trandafirilor Park through September 13. A separate fair featuring handicrafts and handmade products is also being held at the park through September 25.
At 26 Dacia Boulevard, at the intersection with Traian Boulevard, the “Fair of Traditions” is being held from September 11 to 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fruits and vegetables are also being sold at 15 and 22 Traian Boulevard.
In the Buiucani district, the “EcoLocal” local producers’ fair will take place on September 12 near the Kentford building at 202 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard. Visitors will be able to purchase locally produced food and non-food products.
In the Centru district, the “Harvest of the Land” fair is taking place on Mitropolit Varlaam Street, between Armenească and Tighina streets, through September 15. The fair features seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Also through September 15, the “Struguraș” fair is being held at the mixed market at 9 Cărbunari Street. Visitors can buy grapes and other seasonal agricultural products, as well as equipment and accessories for wine production and storage.
In the Râșcani district, the “Made at Home for Râșcani” fair will be held on September 12–13 at 13/1 Miron Costin Street, near the square. The event is dedicated to promoting products made by local producers.
Chisinau City Hall is encouraging residents to visit the local fairs and support producers from the Republic of Moldova.
