Contemporary art at the Grande Halle de la Villette: Moldova represented at the SALON D’AUTOMNE 2024 in Paris

This year, the Republic of Moldova will be represented at Salon d’Automne 2024 by teachers and six participants of the “Stati Art” creative course for adults, presented at the event by the private organization “Nicoleta Stati Art Gallery.”

The students have been studying art for a year in the “Stati Art” course and have created a series of paintings in oil on canvas. The artworks represent the artistic skills they have acquired and the inner feelings they wanted to express in their works.

Exhibiting their paintings at an international exhibition such as the Salon d’Automne 2024 enables the participants to make the most of their creations and to launch themselves artistically.

More than 1200 works will be exhibited at the Salon d’Automne 2024 from January 18 to 21. In addition to the exhibition, there will be conferences, fashion presentations, and artistic performances with music and dance. The Salon since 1903, has spawned numerous artistic movements and important figures in contemporary art, including Matisse and Guimard.

The event brings together artists from all over the world, of forty different nationalities, and some 30,000 visitors. In 20 artistic sections, such as architecture, digital art, printmaking, photography, and sculpture, there is no hierarchy between the different types of art, allowing them to exhibit freely.
