Cricova Winery—one of Moldova’s most iconic cultural and tourist landmarks—is set to be officially registered in the Registry of State-Protected Monuments of the Republic of Moldova. The parliamentary committee on culture, education, research, youth, sports, and media approved a draft decision.
The initiative, put forward by the Ministry of Culture, aims to formally recognize Cricova as a protected heritage site and update existing records on architectural monuments already included in the national registry.
According to authorities, the proposed changes will improve documentation and protection of Moldova’s architectural heritage. They also aim to enhance public access to accurate and updated information regarding immovable assets granted monument status.
