Energocom has warned consumers about new fraud attempts involving individuals who falsely claim to represent the company. Under the pretext of checking natural gas meters or updating customer records, these individuals request personal information, including ID card details, banking information, and other confidential data.

“We would like to clarify that Energocom does not operate mobile teams in the field and does not request personal or banking information from consumers, either by phone or through home visits. We recommend that citizens remain vigilant and avoid sharing confidential information with unknown persons.

We also urge consumers not to allow access to their homes to individuals who cannot provide official identification and to verify any information through Energocom’s official communication channels,” the company said in a statement.

Energocom advises citizens to contact its Call Center at 1309 for information or clarification. The company also urges anyone who suspects a fraud attempt to immediately notify the relevant authorities by calling 112.
