(DOC) New Sanctions for Those Destabilizing Moldova — EU Discusses Measures with Third Countries Against Russia’s Allies

The European Union prepares new restrictive measures against individuals who destabilize Moldova and Ukraine, including Kremlin allies. Officials in Brussels will discuss these topics during meetings scheduled between July 2 and 9.

EU authorities plan to coordinate sanctions with third-party countries. While they haven’t confirmed the specific targets, preparatory documents for the Brussels meetings indicate that officials will address these measures, considering the ongoing efforts to destabilize Moldova.

In Ukraine’s case, the documents directly attribute the hostile actions to Moscow’s authorities. Officials also intend to coordinate restrictive measures related to Russia’s internal situation.
