Doina Gherman: Moldova Moves Closer to the EU Membership with Strong Support

Moldova will soon join the European Union, the world’s largest peace project. Deputy Parliament Speaker emphasized that ensuring a safe and European future for the country’s children is a shared responsibility. She made these statements while marking three years since Moldova submitted its EU accession application.

Gherman highlighted that accession requires significant effort, not just from institutions but from society as a whole.

“In a few years, we will be members of the biggest peace project. We must guarantee our children a safe and European future. The road is not easy, but we are not alone! Over the past three years, we have proven that Moldova can succeed, and we have gained reliable friends,” she stated.
