Prime Minister Dorin Recean has nominated Victoria Belous for the post of Finance Minister. Victoria Belous served as deputy head of the State Tax Service.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced, “I have proposed Victoria Belous for the post of Finance Minister. She was deputy head of the State Tax Service and demonstrated professionalism and honesty in managing tax policy. I am confident experience and dedication will significantly contribute to the Finance Ministry’s efforts to ensure financial stability and economic growth.”
The Governor of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM), Anca Dragu, on July 25, submitted to the Parliament the proposal to appoint Finance Minister Petru Rotaru as deputy governor of the central bank. According to a statement issued by the institution, the decision is part of the NBM’s efforts to ensure the stability and continuous development of the financial sector in the Republic of Moldova.
