Dorin Recean: “The European Union is helping us to grow a developed economy and a competitive business environment at home”

Prime Minister Dorin Recean attended the closing conference of the EU4Business: Connecting Companies (EU4BCC) project, which aims to strengthen trade relations between the European Union, its member states, and the Eastern Partnership countries—Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, the government’s communication department reported.

Recean highlighted that 160 local Moldovan businesses have grown with EU support and emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a strong business environment by utilizing EU opportunities.

“Our entrepreneurs are fully benefiting from the European single market: access to financing, over 450 million consumers, the tariffs and regulations removal, and adherence to high-quality standards. These advantages drive our domestic economy forward, foster a competitive business environment, and create more well-paid jobs. Our priority is to stay firmly on the path of European integration as we build a prosperous future together,” Recean stated.
