Prime Minister Dorin Recean will lead Moldova’s delegation to the high session of the UN General Assembly in New York. In the Assembly plenary, the chief executive will deliver a speech emphasizing Moldova’s contribution to solving global problems, such as regional security and climate change, and plead for strengthening international cooperation within the UN.
“The Prime Minister will represent our country at the most important international forum, with the main theme: ‘Unity in diversity for peace, sustainable development and human dignity for all, everywhere,'” government spokesman Daniel Voda told IPN.
The Prime Minister will hold high-level meetings with his counterparts and UN leadership. He will meet with the Moldovan diaspora in the US at the end of his visit.

The high-level segment of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly runs from September 23-27.
