Over the past four years, nearly 9,000 women have received support through the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) programs. Dumitru Alaiba, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of economic development and Digitization, shared this data in honor of International Women’s Day.
He emphasized that women drive change, innovate, and play a crucial role in the country’s economic growth.
“We actively support female entrepreneurship and create real opportunities for women to succeed in business. In the past four years, approximately 9,000 women have benefited from ODA programs—whether through grants, the 373 Programme, loan guarantees, or training courses. And we don’t highlight this just because it’s March 8th. The reality is simple: women bring change, innovate, and significantly contribute to economic development. Their efforts deserve recognition every day,” said Dumitru Alaiba.
