The National Council on Ethics and Integrity will meet to determine whether teachers who participated in trainings organized by the Evrazia organization in Russia should face sanctions. Education Minister Dan Perciun announced and noted that 28 teachers traveled to such trainings in 2024, with an additional five participating this year, the majority from UTA Gagauzia.
Perciun emphasized that teachers should initially receive a warning, but repeated participation in these events could lead to inevitable disciplinary action.
The minister also revealed concerning information that groups of students have either already traveled to, or are being prepared for activities in Russia or Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education stated that Evrazia, an organization sanctioned by the European Union for involvement in destabilizing activities in Moldova, has been organizing these training sessions. According to the ministry, such actions are part of a broader hybrid war targeting the Republic of Moldova, and educators who attend these events risk sanctions.
