The purchase of Russian gas means support for Russia and everything related to the war in Ukraine. This was stated by the head of Energocom, Victor Bynzar, on the air of the Rezoomat program on RLIVE TV.
According to him, Moldova should look for other solutions and should not buy Russian gas.
“I will always be in favor of peace and will not try to ignite a war on the border because this war affects us as well. Both directly and indirectly. For this reason, as I said, we want to import liquefied gas from America to prove that we can be independent,” he explained.

Recall that Moldova refused Russian gas from the end of 2022 and reoriented to Western markets after Gazprom reduced the volume of supplies to Chisinau to 5.7 million cubic meters daily. The entire volume of methane was diverted to the left bank of the Dniester River in exchange for electricity.
