Estonian Ambassador: We are confident that the Republic of Moldova will remain a priority on the European agenda

Speaker of the Parliament Igor Grosu had a farewell meeting with Bucharest-based Estonian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Ingrid Cressel Vinciguerra on the occasion of the end of her mandate, according to the public relations department of the Legislative Assembly.

The officials discussed the internal situation, the agenda of the Parliament, and Estonia’s contribution to obtaining the status of the Republic of Moldova as an EU candidate.

“The experience of the EU countries is important for us, and Estonia can help us with its experience in the digitalization of public services and not only,” said the head of the legislative assembly.

The meeting also discussed the progress made by Moldova in the implementation of the recommendations formulated by the European Commission.

The Speaker of the Parliament wished Ambassador Ingrid Kressel Vincigerra success in his new position as director of the Estonian International Development Centre.

“We are confident that the Republic of Moldova will remain a priority on the European agenda,” the ambassador said.
