The Foreign Minister of Finland will visit Moldova. What will be discussed?

Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, will visit the Republic of Moldova today, as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

The Foreign Ministry announced that her agenda includes meetings with Moldova’s Foreign Minister Mihai PopÈ™oi, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian.

They will discuss the OSCE’s role in enhancing Moldova’s resilience and stability, the Transnistrian settlement process in the context of Moldova’s European integration, and regional security challenges. Additionally, they will explore priorities on the bilateral agenda and strategies to strengthen Moldovan-Finnish cooperation.
