Five Moldovan fashion designers will present their work on the Main Stage of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week (MBBFW), bringing Moldovan fashion to an international audience in Bucharest.
The Moldovan Collective Runway will feature DIOSA, KATEA GRI, L.STOROJUC, PEHOVA and Valentina Vidrascu. The lineup was announced by the organizers on Instagram.
The Spring/Summer 2027 edition of Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week is scheduled for October 14–17, 2026, in Bucharest. The wider fashion experience is promoted by the organizers as taking place from October 13 to 17.
The participation of the five designers is supported by the Invest Moldova Agency and Innovate Moldova, with funding from Sweden.
DIOSA, founded by designer Diana Samoilenko, is a contemporary luxury fashion brand based in Chișinău. The label focuses on clean lines, premium fabrics and couture-inspired details, with an emphasis on individuality and timeless design. The upcoming event will mark DIOSA’s first appearance at MBBFW.
KATEA GRI, founded in 2015 by designer Ecaterina Grigor, is a Moldovan womenswear label known for its minimalist and sensual approach. The brand combines clean architectural lines and refined silhouettes, balancing strength and femininity.
L.STOROJUC, founded by designer Ludmila Storojuc in 2009, is built around craftsmanship, precise construction and an understanding of the female form. Through its contemporary ALTEZZA line, the brand explores architectural minimalism, clean proportions and discreet luxury.
PEHOVA, founded in 2023 by designer Lidia Pehova, is a womenswear brand centered on the concept of quiet strength. Inspired by masculine tailoring and softened through feminine silhouettes, the brand combines structure, comfort and understated elegance. Its aesthetic is described as “lazy luxury.”
Designer Valentina Vidrascu brings cultural heritage into contemporary fashion through a modern reinterpretation of traditional Romanian dress. Her work combines fluid silhouettes, delicate transparencies, craftsmanship and folkloric references to create contemporary expressions of femininity.
The appearance of the five designers at MBBFW highlights the growing international visibility of Moldova’s fashion industry and provides local brands with an opportunity to present their work alongside designers from across Central and Eastern Europe.
Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week has increasingly positioned itself as a regional fashion platform, bringing together designers from Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and other countries.
