The Cartier Publishing House announced that writer Emilian Galaicu-Paun received the title of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters of the French Republic. Galaicu-Paun has served as the publishing house’s editor-in-chief for three decades, diez.md reports.
The Prime Minister of France granted the distinction by decree, recognizing Galaicu-Paun’s outstanding contribution to promoting culture and literature.
At the same time, literary critic Lucia Turcanu, an editor at the same publishing house, received the “Mihai Eminescu” Medal from the President of the Republic of Moldova for her work in literary criticism and for her consistent support for of contemporary authors.
