Turkish Airlines, named the best airline in Europe by Skytrax, will offer free and unlimited Wi-Fi on all its flights next year, according to The Sun.
“In partnership with TCI Aircraft Interiors and Türksat, we will provide free and unlimited Wi-Fi for our entire fleet by the end of 2025,” said the company. “Stay connected at 30,000 feet!” added Turkish Airlines on social media.
It’s important to note that most airlines charge a fee for using in-flight Wi-Fi, except for passengers flying in business or first class. For example, British Airways charges between £1.99 and £21.99, depending on the usage conditions.
Among the few airlines that offer free Wi-Fi are JetBlue, Air New Zealand, and China Eastern. Meanwhile, many low-cost airlines, such as Ryanair, still do not provide this service.
