Moldovan citizens living in France will now be able to claim old-age, survivor’s, and disability pensions, thanks to a newly implemented bilateral Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and France.
On August 5, 2025, authorities officially approved the technical arrangement that implements the Social Security Agreement signed in Paris on March 10, 2025. This milestone enables both countries to implement the agreement’s provisions, providing Moldovan nationals with improved access to pension benefits.
