The Republic of Moldova and the United Arab Emirates may soon abolish the visa regime for ordinary passport holders. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popsoi will sign a memorandum of understanding during his working visit to Abu Dhabi, at the invitation of the UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit’s agenda includes discussions on deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, boosting trade, attracting investment, and collaborating in strategic sectors. They will also discuss regional and international developments.
Minister Popsoi will also meet with representatives of Air Arabia, one of the region’s leading low-cost airlines, to explore opportunities for expanding air connectivity between Moldova and the UAE.
