President Maia Sandu received the letters of accreditation on February 17 from nine newly appointed ambassadors. Of them, only Kazuyuki Takeuchi, the new head of Japan’s diplomatic mission, will reside in Chisinau.
The accredited ambassadors are:
- Shahnaz Gazi, Ambassador of Bangladesh, with residence in Bucharest;
- Pericles Demetriou Stivaros, Ambassador of Cyprus, with residence in Bucharest;
- Park Kichang, Ambassador of South Korea, with residence in Kyiv;
- Mohammed Moustafa Orfy, Ambassador of Egypt, with residence in Bucharest;
- Noel Eugene Eusebio M. Servigon, Ambassador of the Philippines, with residence in Bucharest;
- Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India, with residence in Bucharest;
- Abdullah Abdul Rahman Alshatti, Ambassador of Kuwait, with residence in Bucharest;
- Gloria del Carmen Olivares Portocarrero de Garro, Ambassador of Peru, with residence in Bucharest.
