Hutsul took office and promised to be “Bashkan of Gagauzia, not parties,” but did not answer the question about the financing of the inauguration

Evgenia Hutsul took the oath on Wednesday evening, July 19, in the center of Comrat. The inauguration ceremony started late. After the official part, a briefing for the press took place. The top leadership of the Republic of Moldova was not present at the event.

“Thank you for being with me on this important day. I want to assure you that I will always rely on the oath of allegiance, understanding what responsibility the citizens of ATU Gagauzia expect from me. In particular, I would like to declare that I will be faithful to my people. I will subordinate all knowledge and forces for the benefit of their interests. I will be a Bashkan of Gagauzia and not some parties,” said Evgenia Gutsul, offering cooperation with partners such as Turkey, Europe, Russia, Ukraine, and Romania.

Famous Turkish actor Burak Özçivit delivered a speech in which he promised fans that “the series will continue to be filmed.”

“You welcomed us so well. We will strive to be close to you and share our love with you. We have common roots. We will be together. I am grateful to you,” the actor said and handed a bouquet to the Bashkan.

At 19:50, the official part of the ceremony ended. The journalists were invited to a press briefing, which was held by Bashkan Evgeniya Hutsul. After the briefing, the media insisted on finding out the source of funding for the ceremony, to which Evgenia Hutsul asked: “How are you?”.

She got into the car and drove away. The event was followed by a concert by Mustafa Sandal, another star from Turkey.
