Speaker of the Parliament Igor Grosu met with Moldovan citizens living in the Republic of Lithuania.People were interested in the latest developments in the Republic of Moldova, especially those related to security.
Grosu paid special attention to details about the reform of justice.
“We are determined to go all the way, even if there is great resistance in the judiciary. We are indebted to citizens, we are obliged to punish corrupt officials and not allow them to run our country”, Grosu said.
Another topic they discussed during the meeting was the number of flights to/from Moldova. The Speaker of the Parliament noted that after almost ten years, the Chisinau International Airport returned to state control.
At the end of the meeting, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu called on Moldovan citizens living in Lithuania to become ambassadors of our country abroad, popularizing the culture and traditions of our ancestors.
From 3 to 5 April, Speaker of the Parliament Igor Grosu, is on an official visit to the Republic of Lithuania, at the invitation of his colleague from Vilnius.
