Igor Grosu will pay a working visit to the United States of America

Speaker Igor Grosu will pay a working visit to the United States of America from December 2 to 10. The official delegation also includes Deputy Ion Groza and Deputy Prime Minister Mihail Popsoi, who serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, Grosu is scheduled to meet with members of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, as well as officials from the Department of State and the White House, including Deputy National Security Advisor Andy Baker and Charles McLaughlin, Senior Director for Europe and Russia.

The talks will focus on strengthening the strategic partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the United States, deepening political dialogue, and expanding cooperation in the fields of security, the economy, and democratic governance.

Grosu will also meet with Moldovan communities in Washington, Chicago, and the state of North Carolina to discuss the current situation in Moldova and the priorities of the Parliament’s 12th legislature.
