Israel Resumes Outbound Flights – Moldovans Can Depart via Commercial Airlines

Israeli airlines received permission to operate outbound flights from Israel under strict security conditions starting June 23. Authorities decided against suspending air travel for two weeks due to the regional security situation, according to IPN.

According to Moldova’s Embassy in Israel, each aircraft may carry up to 50 passengers. Travelers choosing to leave Israel now can book a return ticket only if it’s for a date at least 30 days later.

Interested individuals can register directly with Israeli carriers such as El Al, Arkia, Israir, Air Haifa, or Mano Maritime. All procedures follow rules set by Israeli authorities, and ticket sales are open to everyone without selection criteria. However, priority goes to humanitarian cases, life-saving situations, or security-related departures.

This decision follows 12 days of conflict between Israel and Iran. During this time, Moldovan authorities evacuated two groups from Israel, totaling 30 citizens.
