The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Israeli government’s decision to open an embassy in Chisinau, calling it a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced the decision, which Chisinau officials described as a milestone in the relationship between the Republic of Moldova and the State of Israel. The move reflects the strong friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
“Establishing an Israeli embassy in Chisinau will enhance political dialogue, boost economic and trade relations, and support Moldovan and Israeli communities in both countries,” stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The embassy will open in 2025, with the Republic of Moldova pledging its full support for the initiative.
