The Foreign Ministry urges Moldovans to avoid all travel to Lebanon and Israel, warning that the Middle East is becoming increasingly dangerous.
“The MFA urges Moldovan citizens who are in the Republic of Lebanon and the State of Israel to exercise vigilance in the context of the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East region,” reads a statement issued by the MFA.
At the same time, the MFA advises citizens:
-Follow the instructions of military and civilian authorities;
-Limit travel to the north and south;

-In case of great necessity not to leave their residence;
-In case of a shooting, take refuge in special shelters.

Authorities are also urging Romanians to leave Lebanon while flights are still available due to the military escalation in the Middle East.
