The Moldovan national soccer team defeated the team from Poland with a score of 3:2 in the fourth match of the qualifying round of the European Championship 2024 in Group E.
The result is all the more surprising, given the fact that the Polish team played star player Robert Lewandowski. By halftime, Moldova had conceded two goals, but by the second half, our team pulled itself together and fight back.
In the 48th and 79th minutes, Ion Nikolaescu scored the equalizer. Vladislav Baboglo scored the winning goal in the 85th minute.
Thanks to the historical double, Nikolaescu became the best scorer in the history of Moldova.
