President Maia Sandu participates at the European People’s Party Congress in Valencia, Spain. During the event, she plans on meetings with European leaders.
She held one of her first discussions with Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister, Antonio Tajani.
“A productive meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani. Moldova values Italy’s strong support for our European path and for strengthening our resilience. We aim to expand our cooperation and deliver concrete results for our citizens,” said Maia Sandu.

From April 27 to 29, Maia Sandu is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Spain. There, she will meet with European leaders to discuss key priorities. They will focus on strengthening political support for Moldova’s accession to the European Union and exploring ways to expand economic cooperation. Another topic will be deepening bilateral relations with Moldova’s partner countries.
