President Maia Sandu will leave for the Swiss Confederation on Friday, June 14, where she will attend the Summit for Peace in Ukraine, which will take place on June 15-16, the Presidency announces.
Leaders from more than 90 countries have announced their attendance at the summit, and the meeting aims to discuss the path to a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and Europe.
“During the event, the President will hold meetings with several heads of state and government of the European Union member states to deepen political dialogue and economic ties, as well as to advance the process of accession to the European Union,” the Presidential institution reports.
