President Maia Sandu of the Republic of Moldova has firmly condemned the massive overnight attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, and the city of Odesa, which left at least 14 people dead and 55 injured.
In a message posted on platform X, the President described the assault as “an act of systematic and cold-blooded violence” and urged the international community to step up its support for Ukraine, especially in strengthening air defense.
“Another night of Russian terror on Kyiv. Civilians murdered, homes reduced to rubble. This is cold-blooded, systematic violence. Moldova strongly condemns this brutality. Ukraine needs more air defence and decisive action—now. Every delay empowers the aggressor,” Sandu wrote.
