President Maia Sandu will pay a working visit to France on Wednesday, October 29. The head of state will participate in the Paris Peace Forum at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the event, President Sandu will deliver a speech at a session that focuses on information integrity and the role of independent media.
The Paris Peace Forum, now in its eighth edition, began in 2018 as an initiative of President Emmanuel Macron. Each year, the forum gathers world leaders and experts to discuss solutions to major global challenges, including peace and security, sustainable development, and democratic governance.
