President Maia Sandu congratulated the French Republic on Bastille Day. She emphasized the collaboration and friendship between the two countries in her message, IPN reports.
“On this 14th of July, we proudly celebrate the deep friendship that unites Moldova and France. As a strategic partner and loyal friend, France holds a special place in our hearts,” Maia Sandu wrote in a social media post.

At the same time, Moldova’s Foreign Ministry sent “Warmest wishes to the French people. We value our strong friendship and close cooperation in support of democracy, security, and a united Europe,” according to the message published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau.
