Marking the 249th anniversary of U.S. independence, the President of the Republic of Moldova congratulated Washington and expressed gratitude for America’s support for Chisinau, IPN reported.
“For over 30 years, U.S. support has helped Moldova grow stronger and more resilient — a stable partner in a vital region. Today, we celebrate our shared values and the friendship we have built,” Maia Sandu wrote on social media.

At the same time, the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau emphasized that this day honors the enduring values of liberty, democracy, and equality that have shaped the nation since 1776:
