Marta Kos stated that Ukraine ranks second after the Republic of Moldova in terms of reform implementation, noting that Kyiv has surpassed Serbia.
Speaking during a session of the European Parliament, the commissioner praised the pace at which Ukraine is advancing reforms aligned with European standards. According to Kiyv Independent, Ukraine has reached an implementation rate of 87%, compared to 93% in Moldova and just 30% in Serbia.
“These achievements are being made despite bombs falling on the country, despite the fact that the country is fighting for its life, for survival,” Marta Kos said in her address to Members of the European Parliament.
She also stressed that Ukraine is undergoing a broader economic transformation alongside its reform efforts.
