The annual meeting of the diplomatic and military corps accredited in the Republic of Moldova took place in Chisinau, organized by the Ministry of Defense. The event brought together ambassadors, military attachés, and representatives of the EU and NATO.
Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii spoke about the security challenges the country is facing, including cyberattacks, hybrid actions, and disinformation. He thanked external partners for their support in modernizing the army and emphasized that this assistance is essential for developing a modern and effective defense force.
For 2026, the ministry aims to strengthen national resilience and maintain a safe environment for citizens, with a strong focus on diplomatic cooperation and ongoing reforms.
Participants also discussed the regional security situation, the progress made in transforming the National Army, and the role of the defense sector in the country’s European integration process.
