Ministry of Justice Hosts PACE Co-Rapporteurs on Fact-Finding Mission

The Ministry of Justice met with the co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee, who are conducting a fact-finding mission in Moldova from May 26 to 28.

They discussed key issues such as judicial reform, anti-corruption efforts, compliance with human rights standards, prison conditions, and recent progress. The meeting focused heavily on reviewing the Government Agent’s Report for 2024, which details how Moldovan authorities have implemented the European Court of Human Rights decisions.

Officials also reviewed the results of the first stage of the judicial vetting process and the procedure for appointing the new Prosecutor General.
