Traffic at the Palanca and Tudora border crossing points is partially suspended following overnight drone attacks on Ukrainian territory. Authorities have halted traffic on the Palanca Udobnoe segment.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 85 people, including 33 children, received assistance overnight at the temporary mobile camp set up by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in cooperation with the Border Police.
At 04:10, authorities suspended traffic on the Maiaki Udobnoe bridge after a new drone attack. In the morning, border activity at the Palanca Maiaki Udobnoe crossing stopped for travelers exiting the Republic of Moldova. At the Tudora Starokazacie crossing point, authorities allow movement only toward Belgorod, Ukraine.
Passenger traffic is currently absent at both border crossings, and authorities continue to suspend traffic on the Palanca Udobnoe segment.
The Border Police advise travelers to use the Otaci Moghilev Podolsk crossing point instead. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also announced ongoing coordination with Ukrainian authorities and confirmed that officials are considering the installation of a pontoon bridge along the riverbank.
Authorities have redirected all vehicles traveling toward Odesa back into the Republic of Moldova and recommend avoiding travel in that direction.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that authorities have the situation under control, continue to monitor developments, and remain fully mobilized and coordinated to ensure public safety.
