Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov and Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani signed a Collaboration Memorandum during their meeting in Tirana, held in the context of the European Political Community Summit.
“Moldova and Albania share the same aspiration—to become EU member states. Being in Tirana, I was pleased to meet again with Igli Hasani, Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs,” said Cristina Gherasimov.
The Deputy Prime Minister discussed the European agenda of both countries with Igli Hasani, highlighting their progress on the path to the EU and ways they can support each other.

The signed Collaboration Memorandum will enable both parties to exchange experiences and best practices between institutions, cooperate closely in key areas, and leverage the technical expertise gained during their negotiation processes.
“We have much to learn from each other. Together, we will be better prepared for the greater European family,” Gherasimov concluded.
Cristina Gherasimov joined the delegation led by Head of State Maia Sandu at the sixth European Political Community Summit held in Tirana, Albania.
