Moldova and Israel signed a cooperation memorandum to strengthen economic and entrepreneurial relations during the international business forum “Moldova — Israel,” IPN reported. This document initiates a broader partnership between the business communities of both countries and creates opportunities for innovation, investment, and job creation.
Vasile Tarlev, President of the National Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Moldova, and Ronnie Brik, President of the Association of Entrepreneurs in Israel, signed the memorandum. The agreement promotes innovative technologies, construction safety, and interstate entrepreneurial cooperation.
The two sides committed to facilitating technology and knowledge transfers, engaging Israeli startups in Moldovan projects, and establishing joint platforms for collaboration between Moldovan and Israeli companies. They also agreed to adopt international safety practices on construction sites and develop integrated Moldovan-Israeli enterprises.
Vasile Tarlev highlighted in a press conference Moldova’s potential to become a competitive investment hub. He stated that this partnership could generate stable jobs for young people in the country and Moldovan diaspora members wishing to return.
