Moldova and Romania have approved measures to optimize traffic on the border during the winter holidays, the Border Police reported.
Representatives of the Moldovan Border Police participated in a joint meeting with the Romanian Border Guard Authority, also attended by customs officials from both countries, to agree on quick and efficient actions to harmonize the passenger flow.
Thus, to reduce the waiting time and facilitate border crossing, the parties identified the following priorities: staffing and using modern equipment to increase capacity, optimizing real-time information exchange between the authorities of the two countries, and mobilizing additional resources during increased passenger traffic.
