Moldova and Turkmenistan plan to sign an agreement on combating organized crime

Moldova and Turkmenistan are poised to finalize an agreement to combat organized crime. The commencement of negotiations is pending approval by the government.

A Moldovan delegation, led by Interior Ministry State Secretary Jana Kostaki, will be entrusted with negotiating the terms of the agreement. This team will comprise experts from the Interior Ministry, Foreign Ministry, and Prosecutor’s Office.

Jana Kostaki has been authorized to initial the agreement on behalf of the Moldovan government. Should any member of the official delegation be replaced, their responsibilities will be seamlessly assumed by newly appointed individuals without requiring a separate government decree.
