Moldova and Ukraine to Mutually Recognize Diplomas and Academic Titles

The Moldovan government approved a bilateral agreement on Wednesday, March 5, to facilitate the mutual recognition of diplomas and scientific titles between Moldova and Ukraine.

“The decision will enhance professional mobility between the two countries, particularly supporting the education of refugee children from Ukraine. The agreement will also ease the integration of Ukrainian teachers into Moldova’s labor market,” stated the Ministry of Education and Research.

According to the ministry, the treaty outlines the types of educational documents to be recognized, covering all levels of education, from general education diplomas to scientific titles. This initiative aims to strengthen academic cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine.
